How to Perform a Query

The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:

Products Services

   Finds documents containing the words 'Products' or 'Services'

 

Products or Services

   Same as above

 

Products and Services

   Finds documents containing both words 'Products' and 'Services'

 

Products not Services

   Finds documents containing 'Products' but not 'Services'

 

(Products not Services) and Promotion

   Finds documents containing 'Promotion', plus 'Products' but not 'Services'
